Each year, hundreds of thousands of motorcyclists head toward, what many feel, is the motorcycling mecca of the world, Sturgis, and the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota takes place this year August 3-9.

Harley-Davidson is recalling certain 2009 FLTRSE3 motorcycles equipped with blade rear wheel accessory kits.
Some wheels within the subject population underwent a secondary heat treatment process. As a result of this secondary heat treatment, these wheels may have a crack.
1759 units are affected.

Today’s cocktail is the legendary Sidecar, which according to some reports was invented in the early 1930’s at Harry’s Bar in Paris for a patron who often rode in the sidecar of a motorcycle. Like the martini, the Sidecar has experienced a renaissance. The Sidecar offers a very appealing sweet-sour combination, along with a nice kick. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz. Brandy
1/2 oz. Cointreau (or Triple Sec, as a substitute)
1/2 oz. Lemon or Lime Juice
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Shake vigorously.
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
4. Garnish with orange slice or lemon twist.
5. Serve and repeat, as needed.

BMW is recalling certain 2007-2009 R1200RT motorcycles.
Due to routing and assembly tolerances of the front brake lines, it is possible for the lines to be under strain. In combination with vibration during riding, the brake lines could develop a leak. The level of fluid in the front brake fluid reservoir could drop rendering the front brakes inoperative.
The number of units affected has not been announced.
